The Moorhouse Ranch,
located on the Rolling Plains and Cross Timbers sections of Texas, near
the town of Benjamin, was established in the early 1900s by the late
J.C. "Togo" Moorhouse and his brother, Frank. Their strong
ranching legacy continues still today. The ranch consists of approximately
75,000 owned and leased acres in King, Knox, Stonewall and Hall Counties
in Texas, where they run 1,800 mother cows, 1,000 yearligs and about
100 American Quarter Horses.
This
ranching legacy has retained its roots with good horses, quality cattle,
and cowboys who can work from daybreak to sundown...and they wouldn't
have it any other way. They do things the "old" way, using
horses on a daily basis, working from the wagon and dragging calves
to the fire.
Take
a look around and discover what the Moorhouse Ranch is all about. The
Ranch. The Horses. The Legacy.
